Adam Uziel

Lead Weld Engineer at Relativity Space

Adam Uziel is the current Lead Weld Engineer at Relativity Space. Adam has held this position since April of 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Applications Engineer - Arc Welding at EWI from August of 2011 to April of 2017. In this role, they developed welding and manufacturing solutions for various industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Navy, Nuclear, Advanced Energy, Medical, Heavy Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas. Adam was also the project leader for all large-scale additive manufacturing efforts, including arc and laser based processes. Some of their other notable project work includes the design and implementation of a robotic welding system for the Navy that is estimated to reduce manufacturing costs by at least 50%.

Adam Uziel began their career in weld engineering as an intern at Honeywell FM&T from June of 2005 to September of 2005. Adam then went on to work as a Weld Engineer at GKN Aerospace from September of 2006 to March of 2009, and at Space Exploration Technologies from March of 2009 to August of 2011.

Adam Uziel graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University. Adam also has a certification from the American Welding Society as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
