Matt Manzi is a software engineer at Relay Network. Matt previously worked as a systems engineer intern at Juniper Networks from May to August 2019, where they evaluated a new product and wrote a 50-page guide designed to expedite the learning process for other pre-sales systems engineers. Matt also presented the deliverable at a company-wide showcase to employees of all business verticals and shadowed other systems engineers in sales and customer meetings to learn sales and business principles. From June to August 2018, they interned as a cybersecurity engineer at Parsons Corporation, where they defined, designed, and implemented cybersecurity analytics and visualizations to identify and assess network and device security, and microservices for parallelized data correlation. Matt also analyzed network traffic for individual and overall anomalies in connections and researched, configured, and implemented an offline region-mapping visualization solution for threat identification in a secure environment. Matt presented their solution to business leaders in AFCEA Central Maryland at their Summer Intern Presentation Showcase. Matt Manzi was also the computer science lead teaching assistant at University of Maryland Baltimore County from August 2017 to May 2019.
Matt Manzi graduated from Garnet Valley High School with a 3.84 GPA. Matt then attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a Cybersecurity Track. After graduation, they obtained certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Developer - Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, as well as Splunk in Splunk Certified Power User 6.3.
