Anu Takala

Anu Takala has extensive work experience in roles related to product ownership, management, and development. Most recently, they have been working at RELEX Solutions as the Lead Engineering Manager since February 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Lead Product Owner from March 2022 to February 2024. Anu also worked as a Senior Product Manager and Product Owner at RELEX Solutions from October 2021 to March 2022.

Anu has also held roles as a Visiting Lecturer at LUT University and Aalto University Department of Computer Science, focusing on the Product Owner role and domain. They have experience in product ownership and management at UpCloud and Codento Oy, where they were responsible for roadmapping, requirements gathering, backlog management, and sprint planning.

Additionally, Anu has a background in R&D and technical product management at F-Secure Corporation, where they led the development and operations of authentication platforms. They also served as a Senior Manager in platform releases and technical product management. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager and Product Manager at TeliaSonera, focusing on the management and development of access products.

Before entering the technology industry, Anu worked in project management and business development roles at Sonera Plaza Ltd and Sonera Corporation. They have a diverse range of experience and expertise in product ownership, management, and development in various industries.

Anu Takala has a diverse education history. In 1990-1992, they studied Marketing & Business Administration at SLK. From 1992 to 2000, Anu pursued a Master of Social Sciences degree at the University of Helsinki. In 2008, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Business Excellence Solutions Ltd. Anu further expanded their knowledge by completing various professional courses and certifications. In 2011, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner through Scrum Alliance, and in 2017, they gained expertise in Sociocracy 3.0 through a course offered by Thrive-in Collaboration/Crisp. Anu also completed a Sociocracy 3.0 Practitioner Course Level II in 2018 at Thrive-In Collaboration/iLean. In 2019, they obtained the Professional Scrum Master certification from Lekman Consulting. Anu continues to enhance their skills and completed a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance in 2022. Overall, their education and certifications demonstrate their commitment to agile methods, growing organizational agility, Scrum practices, and quality/process improvement.
