Mikko Kasanen

Mikko Kasanen's work experience includes various roles in the tech industry. Mikko is currently a Technical Principal at RELEX Solutions, leading a team of architects and focusing on innovative cloud architecture strategies. Previously, they worked at Microsoft as a Senior Cloud Solution Architect, providing technical guidance and support to partners in designing Azure Data & AI solutions. Before that, they held roles as a Software Architect at Sensoftia Oy, a Software Developer at NettiTieto Oy, and a Research Assistant at the University of Eastern Finland. Mikko also gained experience through internships at Itä-Suomen sosiaalialan osaamiskeskus and FAO. Overall, Mikko has a diverse background in software development, cloud architecture, and tech evangelism.

Mikko Kasanen holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki (2020-2025) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland (2008-2018). Mikko attended Savonlinnan Lyseon Lukio from 2003 to 2006. Mikko also has multiple certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (obtained in July 2023) and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (obtained in June 2020 and September 2020).
