HCI Researcher at Reliabl

Maya Mundell is an accomplished HCI researcher currently at Reliabl, focusing on inclusive machine learning technologies to mitigate algorithmic bias. Simultaneously, Maya serves as a research consultant for Impact America Fund, where market research and technology analysis support investment decisions. As a PhD candidate at Cornell University, Maya explores Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICTD) and their social impacts. Maya is also the founder of Coynts, which assists students in obtaining scholarships. Previous experience includes user experience research at Cornell Tech, a visiting research fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems, and roles in digital marketing, teaching, and Arabic language consultancy. Education includes a Master’s degree from Cornell Tech and a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, with additional studies in Arabic language and literature completed in Jordan and Oman.
