Samuel Arce

Samuel Arce has a diverse work experience background. Samuel currently holds the positions of Deputy Director - Advanced Technology and Automation and Technology at Reliable Controls Corporation, which they started in 2022 and 2020 respectively. Prior to this, they worked as a Digital R&D at FLSmidth in 2019. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Control Systems Engineer at Reliable Controls Corporation where they were responsible for commissioning and startup of a gold leaching plant. Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, where they designed environmentally friendly practices and developed heat transfer models for improved testing of thermal efficiency. Samuel also has experience as a Training Specialist at the Missionary Training Center from 2015 to 2016.

Samuel Arce's education history begins in 2013 when they enrolled in Brigham Young University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. Samuel successfully completed their program in 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, Samuel continued their education at Brigham Young University, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from 2018 to 2020.

Motivated to further expand their knowledge and expertise, Samuel Arce pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Chemical Engineering at Brigham Young University from 2020 to 2024.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Samuel Arce also obtained two certifications from the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. In June 2016, they achieved the ELA905-SAChE: Inherently Safer Design certification and the ELA910-SAChE: Nitrogen's Role in Safety certification.
