Michael J. Molnar has a diverse and extensive work experience in accounting and investment roles. Michael J. began their career as a Mutual Fund Accountant at Merrill Lynch in 1993 and worked there until 1998. Michael J. then moved on to roles such as Accounting Supervisor at New York Life Investment Management and Chubb Insurance Group. In 2002, they joined ACE Asset Management as a Senior Accountant. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Portfolio Controller at GMAC Institutional Advisors. Michael J. then served as the Investment Controller at RAIT Financial Trust from 2006 to 2015. Following that, they held a position as Vice President of Investment Accounting at BlackRock from 2015 to 2016. Currently, they are the Director of Investment Accounting at Reliance Standard, a position they have held since November 2016.
Michael J. Molnar graduated from Rutgers University - Newark in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Accounting from Middlesex College, which they completed in 1991. In addition to their education, they have also obtained certifications including a Real Estate Salesperson certification from Pennsylvania in 2015 and a Series 7 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in October 2010.
