Michael McPherson

Michael McPherson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Michael currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Security Operations at ReliaQuest since March 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for over 20 years. Their roles at the FBI included serving as the Special Agent in Charge of the Tampa Field Office, Chief of International Terrorism Operations in the Counterterrorism Division, Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the Counterterrorism Branch, and Supervisory Special Agent. Before joining the FBI, they worked as a Special Agent at the U.S. Coast Guard and served as an Operations Officer.

Michael McPherson attended the US Coast Guard Academy from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a degree in Management with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Michael also holds a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Northeastern University and a Certificate in Change Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. In addition to their academic qualifications, McPherson has obtained several certifications, including a CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Leadership from the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University in 2020, an Intelligence Officer certification from the FBI in 2006, a SWAT OPERATOR - Sniper and Breacher certification from the FBI in 2000, and a GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) from GIAC Certifications in January 2019.
