Syed Athar Shah

Syed Athar Shah is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in non-profit organizations, particularly within the realm of grant and financial management. Currently serving as Country Finance Manager at Relief International since November 2017 and as Finance & Award Manager at Save the Children Fiji since May 2016, Syed has held significant roles at Save the Children International, including Senior Manager Awards & Systems in South Sudan and Grants & Budget Manager in Yemen. Previous experience includes Finance & Grants Coordinator at Save the Children Federation in Pakistan and Finance Officer at International Medical Corps, as well as Finance Manager at Community Motivation & Development Organization. Syed's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from Preston University, professional qualifications from the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan, and degrees in Economics and Science from the University of Peshawar.
