Alfonso Gutierrez

Alfonso Gutierrez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alfonso began their career as a medical intern at Cruz Roja Mexicana I.A.P. in 2015, followed by internships at Hospital ABC and Hadassah University Medical Center in 2015 and 2016 respectively. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Coordinator of Public Health Program at Project TEN-CADENA, where they led teams of international volunteers in public health campaigns. Alfonso then worked as a Medical Information Associate at PPD from 2017 to 2018, gaining proficiency in providing medical and technical information and translating medical literature. Currently, they are working at Reliq Health Technologies Inc. since 2019, where they initially held the position of Business Analyst before transitioning to the role of Product Owner in 2022.

Alfonso Gutierrez completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at McMaster University from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Universidad Panamericana between 2011 and 2017. In addition to their formal education, Alfonso obtained certifications as a Certified Product Owner from Product Manager HQ in 2022, a Certified Product Manager (CPM) from BrainStation in 2021, and completed courses in programming fundamentals and using databases with Python on Coursera in 2018.
