Philippa Scarlett

Philippa Scarlett is an accomplished legal professional and policy expert, currently serving as the Head of Global Government Affairs at RELX since July 2021. In this role, Philippa leads a global team of policy professionals and advises business leadership on policy matters across various regions. Previously, Philippa held significant positions at Apple as Principal Counsel, where responsibilities included developing the company's Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) strategy and human rights policy. Philippa's experience also includes serving as Deputy Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator at the Executive Office of the President and in various roles at the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. Court of Appeals, and prominent law firms. Philippa holds a JD from Columbia Law School, a Master's degree in History from Harvard University, and a Bachelor's degree in History from Stanford University.
