Irina Barykina

Irina Barykina has been a software engineer for over 10 years. Irina began their career in 2009 at Axmor Software, where they worked as a developer using Java, Eclipse RCP, GEF, and SQLite. In 2010, they moved to Luxoft as a Senior Java Developer, where they worked on a distributed system used to facilitate UBS trading desks in the pricing and management of their instruments, as well as an OSGI-based compiler of navigational data for Harman Becker Automotive Systems GmbH. In 2014, they joined KAYAK as a Software Engineer, where they worked on multiple integrations with third-party APIs to acquire, parse and clean flight metadata. As of 2019, they are the Lead Software Engineer at Remi AI, where they work on server-side development using cutting-edge technologies, ML methods applied to time series data, and other related tasks.

Irina Barykina's education history includes a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Machine Learning from the University of Hamburg, which they completed in 2020. Irina also holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Novosibirsk State University (NSU), which they obtained in 2009.
