Ori Cohavi, PhD

Ori Cohavi, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ori is currently the Co-Founder & CTO of Remilk, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Discovery at Mitoconix Bio Ltd. from 2017 to 2019. Ori also served as a Project Manager at CollPlant from 2015 to 2017. Ori worked as a Senior Development Scientist at Beckman Coulter (Israel) Ltd. from January 2014 to September 2015. Before that, they were a Senior Researcher at Semorex Technologies from June 2012 to January 2014. Ori has also worked at the Weizmann Institute of Science, initially as a Ph.D. student from November 2005 to January 2012, and later as a Postdoctoral Researcher in 2012. Ori started their academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in biology from Tel Aviv University, which they completed from October 2002 to June 2005.

Ori Cohavi, PhD completed their education at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Ori obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology between 2005 and 2011. Additionally, they pursued a Direct Ph.D program with the Feinberg graduate school of the Weizmann Institute of Science, which lasted from 2005 to 2012. During this time, they also earned multiple master's degrees, including M.Sc in track and M.Sc in biological chemistry. Ori completed their undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree.
