Zachary Weiss

Zachary Weiss's work experience begins in 2016 when they worked as a Software Developer and Designer at Global Imagination. In this role, they developed tools and videos to facilitate customer data mapping and marketing efforts. Zachary also built a web-based tool for database interpretation and map generation.

In 2017, they served as a Hardware R&D Intern at Carbon, where they designed and built specialized part post-processing machines and implemented automated safety checks for high-volume manufacturing.

The following year, in 2018, they worked as a Hardware R&D Intern at Matician. Here, they joined the co-founders of Flutter as the first Mechanical employee. Zachary'sresponsibilities included designing and building the first prototype, analyzing acoustics, and reducing noise.

In 2019, Zachary took on a Consultant role at Breakthrough Energy Ventures. In this position, they designed and implemented internal tools, engaged with CEOs on investment questions, and conducted industry research on various topics.

In 2020, they co-founded Urchin Interfaces and served as a Co-Founder until September. During this time, they also worked as a "Scaling Ninja" at Curative-Korva. In this role, they flew to Los Angeles to assist in the scaling of COVID-19 testing, bringing daily testing from zero to over 10k tests/day.

Currently, Zachary is working as a Development Engineer at ReMo Energy, Inc.

Zachary Weiss completed their education at Boston University College of Engineering. Zachary obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2017 to 2021. Zachary continued their studies at the same institution and graduated in 2022 with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to attending Boston University, Zachary attended Gunn High School from 2013 to 2017, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period.
