Luhaib Abbood

Luhaib Abbood, MPhil, MSc, has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical science and education. Starting as a Biology and Chemistry teacher at Alhikma high school in 2004, they have worked in various roles such as Aesthetic practitioner at Cosmo Touch Clinic, Lecturer/ researcher at Biotechnology University College, and Lecturer / immunology researcher at The University of Salford. Most recently, they served as a Covid-19 testing lead scientist at Remote Medical International and as a Biomedical science lecturer at Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company.

Luhaib Abbood holds a BSc in Microbiology from Al-Jami'at Al-Mustansiriyah. Luhaib further pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Biotechnology (Medical Genetics) at Dubai Academic City from 2009 to 2011. Recently, they completed their MPhil degree in Biomedical Sciences / Immunology at The University of Salford from 2018 to 2021.
