Spencer Kates

Spencer Kates has held a variety of roles since 2015. Spencer began their career as an UDairy Creamery Employee at the University of Delaware in 2015. The following year, they interned as an Agronomist at Anheuser-Busch, where they actively participated in barley Agro Team Agronomist duties and identified grower practices. In 2017, they returned to the University of Delaware as an Economic Research Assistant, conducting research alongside the Federal Trade Commission and managing surveying events. From 2015 to 2018, Kates held the role of Server Assistant at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction in a high volume restaurant. In 2018, they became a Route Sales Manager New York and Business Development Specialist at Aramark Refreshment Services. In this role, they promoted base business growth, expanded program offerings, identified key sales opportunities, and owned company-wide selling initiatives. Most recently, in 2021, Kates began working as a Sales Specialist at RemoteLock.

Spencer Kates attended the University of Delaware from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Food Agribusiness Marketing & Management and Agricultural and Natural Resources Double Major.
