Astri Sorenson

Astri Sorenson has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as Fractional Chief of Staff at Ren since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief of Staff at Banff Advisors from 2020 to 2023. Astri also held the position of Chief of Staff at the United Nations Foundation from 2018 to 2020. Before transitioning into a chief of staff role, Astri worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company from 2017 to 2018.

In 2013, Astri began their career at the Clinton Foundation, where they held several positions including Deputy Director of Metrics & Impact, Metrics Program Manager, Metrics Associate, Metrics Analyst, and Haiti Intern. Before that, they interned at Lutheran World Relief in their West Africa Regional Office in 2012.

Astri also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and History from St. Olaf College, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, Astri participated in various educational programs abroad, including a semester abroad at The American University of Paris in 2009 where they studied European Diplomatic History, French Communication and Culture, and History of Parisian Architecture. Astri also attended a summer program at Georgetown University in 2009, focusing on Development, Islamic Studies, and Democracy in Ifrane, Morocco.
