Uwana Ebong has extensive work experience in the finance and banking industry. Uwana started their career as a Financial Services Intern at PwC in 2008. Uwana then worked as a Financial Analyst and Economic Researcher at the Financial Derivatives Company Ltd from 2011 to 2013. At CNBC, Uwana served as a Financial Reporter and Analyst from 2013 to 2015, where they conducted research, wrote stories, and analyzed financial statements for major corporations. Uwana then joined Stanbic IBTC as part of the Corporate & Investment Banking team from 2015 to 2018. Uwana later became the Head of Coronation Securities at Coronation Merchant Bank from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are a Vice President of Sales & Origination at Renaissance Capital.
Uwana Ebong completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, Uwana pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Finance & Investment at Queen Mary University of London from 2010 to 2011.
