Carlos Cubas

Carlos Cubas has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Carlos is currently working as the VP of Engineering, Practice at Renaissance Learning. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Engineering at Freckle by Renaissance. Carlos also has experience as the VP of AI, ML & Business Intelligence at Constellation Brands and as the VP of Architecture & Engineering and VP of Platform Engineering at Taylor & Francis Group. Carlos has also founded their own company, hisanta, where they served as the Founder. Carlos has worked at Diageo as a Product Manager & Technical Architect and as a Global End User Experience Architect. Carlos began their career at MBIA, initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer.

Carlos Cubas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Pace University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In 2018, they obtained additional certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera, including "How Google does Machine Learning" and "Machine Learning."
