Group Lead - Customer Experience & Training at Renault Group

Tapas Chakrabarti has extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on customer experience, aftersales operations, and team management. Since June 2011, Tapas has held various leadership positions at Renault Group, currently serving as Group Lead for Customer Experience & Training, overseeing a team responsible for aftersales operations across the North, Central, and East Zones with 72 dealers in 19 states. Prior to this role, Tapas gained experience as Area Aftersales Manager at Renault India Private Limited and as an Area Aftersales Manager at General Motors, where responsibilities included dealer networking and profitability analysis. Earlier career roles included Territory Manager Service at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Senior Service Engineer at Force Motors Ltd, and Territory Service Manager at Hindustan Motors Ltd, where Tapas focused on strategic consulting and brand development. Tapas holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from North Calcutta Polytechnic.
