Dev Alok Girdhar

Dev Alok Girdhar serves as the Director of Technology Development at Renesas Electronics since January 2020, overseeing the process integration and device modeling team with a focus on power devices and BCD technologies. Prior to this, Girdhar held the position of Senior Manager, Devices at Intersil, where responsibilities included designing and optimizing semiconductor devices for BCD process technologies. Girdhar's career also includes management roles at International Rectifier, where oversight of the LV MOSFET and IGBT groups occurred, and a directorial position at Silicon Semiconductor, demonstrating high-efficiency MOSFETs. Girdhar's early experience includes a senior member role at Philips Research, leading projects on SiC power devices. Educational achievements include a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University, a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and ongoing MBA studies at New York University.
