David Conklin

David Conklin is an experienced technology development professional currently serving as the Director of Technology Development at Tokyo Electron US since January 2020. Prior to this role, Conklin held various positions at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from July 2015 to January 2020, including Manager of Advanced Module Engineering and Senior Member of Technical Staff, with responsibilities centered on FEOL advanced lithography and total patterning solutions. Conklin's career also includes an Advisory Scientist role at IBM, focusing on patterning solutions for advanced technology nodes, and a Research Assistant position at the University of Pennsylvania, where significant research led to the discovery of plasmon enhanced photoconduction. Conklin earned a PhD in Material Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, and a BS in Engineering Science & Mechanics from Penn State University.
