Iain MacCallum has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Iain started their career with Barr Construction in 2007 as a Site Engineer and later worked as a Site Engineer, Site Engineer/Assistant Site Manager, Section Engineer, and Senior Site Engineer, handling various projects including the construction of industrial units, a recycling plant expansion, and a health center.

In 2008, Iain continued with Barr Construction and worked as a Site Engineer for the construction of Kirkintilloch Health Centre, where they also took on additional responsibilities as part of the Site Management team.

From 2010 to 2012, Iain continued working with Barr Construction as a Senior Site Engineer for projects such as Greenrigg Wind Farm and the construction of a football pitch, car park, roads, and facility building. Iain was also involved in managing quality systems, inspections, and materials.
