Sam Lumley

Sam Lumley is an experienced professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and project management. Their most recent position was at RES, where they served as the Grid Integration Lead starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Electrical Project Engineer at RES from July 2019 to September 2021. Before joining RES, Sam Lumley was employed by Schneider Electric, where they held the roles of Project Engineering Technical Lead - Solar from January 2016 to July 2019, and Applications Engineer - Data Centres from February 2013 to December 2016. They gained initial work experience as an Electrical Engineer (student) at Nestlé S.A. from January 2010 to January 2011.

Sam Lumley has a diverse education history. In 2019, they obtained the Chartered Electrical Engineer certification from Engineers Australia. In the same year, they also achieved the MIEAust CPEng NER (Electrical) certification from Engineers Australia. From 2020 to 2024, Sam is pursuing a Masters of Electrical Power Engineering at the University of Wollongong, specializing in Power. In 2013 and 2014, they completed a Graduate Diploma of Business Management with a focus on Project Management at Swinburne University of Technology. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2012, Sam earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering, both from Swinburne University of Technology.
