Stewart Andrews

Stewart Andrews has extensive work experience in the energy industry, specifically in commercial and advisory roles. Stewart is currently serving as a Senior Commercial Analyst at RES since February 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Commercial - Electric Vehicles at SSE Energy Solutions from August to November 2021.

In their earlier career, Andrews worked at Tullow Oil for over a decade, where they held various roles of increasing responsibility. This includes being a Commercial Lead/Senior Commercial Advisor for Global New Ventures/Exploration, where they conducted due diligence processes and led commercial negotiations for new country entries and license rounds. Stewart also served as a Growth Team Leader and Senior Commercial Advisor for West Africa, and a Commercial Advisor for the Netherlands, South America, and Asia. Stewart'sresponsibilities encompassed managing Tullow's non-operated gas assets, leading economic analysis, and facilitating divestments.

Andrews began their career at Deloitte as a Senior Associate in the Petroleum Services Group in London from August 2006 to August 2008.

Stewart Andrews has a strong educational background in the field of geology, geography, and hydrocarbon enterprise. Stewart obtained a BSc Hons degree in Geology and Geography from the University of Liverpool. Additionally, they pursued further education and obtained an MSc degree in Hydrocarbon Enterprise from the University of Aberdeen. Apart from their academic degrees, Stewart also holds additional certifications. Stewart has a Renewable Energy Expert Certificate from the Renewable Energy Institute, specializing in Renewable Energy Management and Finance, Solar Photovoltaics, and Wind Power. Furthermore, they have also received a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from the British Council.
