Adult ESL Instructor at Rennert International

Chris Berry is a highly experienced educator with a focus on language instruction and teacher training. Currently serving as a Teacher Trainer at the School of International Training since January 2014 and as an Adult ESL Instructor at Rennert International since July 2011, Chris Berry specializes in teaching adult language learners across various proficiency levels while implementing formal and informal assessments based on transparent rubrics. Prior experience includes teaching English Language Arts at BX334, where a TESOL best practices curriculum was emphasized for newcomer immigrant students, as well as providing English as a Foreign Language instruction at various high schools and ESL instruction at PS 503, supporting literacy development among first-grade students. Chris Berry holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Middle Tennessee State University, a Master's degree in TESOL from The City College of New York, and a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Florida.
