Roberto Ramirez Shirasago

Roberto Ramirez Shirasago is currently the VP & GM of Operations at Rent The Runway. Prior to this, they worked at Amazon from May 2014 to July 2020, where they were a Multi-Site Leader/Sr. Operations Manager.

Shirasago was selected to manage the largest Prime Now site in the Pacific Northwest region and turned it around, improving productivity by 100%. Roberto met all KPI goals on a site that interacted with various functional teams and individuals at all levels. Additionally, they reduced Fresh Delivery station freight cost by 50% while providing delivery quality.

Roberto acted as outbound chapter leader for Prime Now North region, achieving an overall Total Production Per Hour (TPH) efficiency improvement of 20% for the region. Roberto applied Operational excellence concepts and processes, taking the region to lead performance in the network and achieving best overall historical valuable cost (VCPU).

Roberto collaborated with central operations to develop and create the new crowdsourcing model to delivery packages for Prime Now. Roberto collaborated on implementation of 15 sites around the US, ensuring proper space, tools and personnel to meet demands.

Roberto was selected as a member of the development team of Amazon Flex crowdsourcing last mile delivery for Prime Now and Amazon Delivery stations. Roberto worked with legal and various stakeholders to develop under the roof processes for effective program launch.

Roberto Ramirez Shirasago has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Colorado Denver and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
