Sally Beran

Sally Beran has extensive experience in human resources, spanning over three decades. Sally currently holds the position of VP - Human Resources at Renters Warehouse, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, Sally served as the Senior Director of Human Resources at FirstService Residential Minnesota from January 2020 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing HR functions for approximately 700 associates and leading a team of 7 HR professionals. Sally also played a vital role in integrating HR processes with the parent company, implementing performance management systems, leadership training, and revising associate policies.

Before joining FirstService Residential Minnesota, Sally worked at the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club from November 2008 to November 2017. In this role as Vice President of Human Resources, they managed various HR functions such as recruiting, employee relations, benefits, communications, and training for a workforce of 2,000 employees across multiple countries. Sally also held the position of Director of Human Resources at the club from April 2004 to October 2008.

Prior to their time at the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club, Sally held HR roles at Smiths Medical and Guaranty Bank/Best Bank. At Smiths Medical, they served as the Regional Vice President of Human Resources from July 2003 to April 2004 and as the Human Resources Director from April 2000 to July 2003. During their tenure at Guaranty Bank/Best Bank, Sally held various positions, including Vice President of Human Resources from October 1995 to March 2000. In this role, they managed the HR function for over 1,100 employees across multiple companies, overseeing recruitment, HRIS, compliance, employee relations, and branch acquisition.

Sally Beran started their education journey by obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, and Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Sally attended the university from 1981 to 1985.

In 2012 to 2013, Sally pursued an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) at Marquette University, although no field of study is specified for this degree.

Furthermore, Sally Beran acquired the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification in June 2021 from Prosci.
