Dustin Neal has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Dustin is currently the Vice President of Finance at Rently, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, from May 2020 to May 2023, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at FinTech CPAs. In 2022, they held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Mariners Church from May to October.
Before their current roles, Dustin had a series of positions at various companies. Dustin worked at QOS Networks by Zayo from June 2021 to May 2022, first as the Vice President of Finance and Accounting, and later as the Senior Director of Finance & Accounting (Controller) from November 2020 to June 2021. From February 2019 to May 2020, they were the Director of Business Systems Applications at BlackBerry, where they led the finance systems team. Prior to that, they worked at Cylance Inc. from November 2016 to February 2019, holding positions as Director of Business Systems Applications and Director of Accounting Operations.
Earlier in their career, Dustin was the Accounting Manager at CrowdStrike from October 2013 to July 2016, where they played a key role in establishing the accounting and procurement teams for the AI cybersecurity software and services startup. Dustin also founded and operated their own progressive CPA practice, Accounting & Tax Solutions, from 2002 to 2013, providing business advisory, tax, and audit services to clients in California and other states. Prior to that, they worked as an Enterprise Risk Services Consultant at Deloitte in 2003 and as a Staff Accountant at Nasif, Hicks, Harris & Co., LLP from 1999 to 2001.

Dustin Neal earned their Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Following their undergraduate studies, Dustin pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Finance & Information Technology at the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business. Dustin completed this program from 2002 to 2004.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Dustin Neal has achieved two professional certifications. Dustin obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy in January 2002. Furthermore, they also acquired the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in October 2010.
