Research Scientist II at Repare Therapeutics

Abira Rajah is a Research Scientist II at Repare Therapeutics since October 2020, previously serving as Research Scientist I. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Researcher at McGill University from May 2017 to August 2020, focusing on the phosphorylation role of paxillin protein in regulating cell migration, morphology, and adhesion, under the supervision of Claire Brown, Ph.D. Additionally, Abira was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Introductory Mammalian Physiology Laboratory, where responsibilities included facilitating laboratory sessions for approximately 200 undergraduate students and evaluating their reports. Earlier, in 2017, Abira worked as a Laboratory Assistant at the Advanced Bio-Imaging Facility at McGill University, managing equipment sterilization and maintenance tasks. Abira holds a Master of Science in Physiology (2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Honours Physiology (2018), both from McGill University, alongside a Diplome d’Études Collégiale in Health Sciences from Dawson College (2015).
