Lindsay Watt

Lindsay Watt is a skilled Machine Learning Engineer currently working at Replica Studios since July 2021. Prior to this role, Lindsay co-founded VAUX, where significant contributions were made to machine learning applications in audio and media, including the development of a real-time ML-based audio codec. As co-founder and Electronics Engineer at RAWrobotics from 2016 to 2021, Lindsay helped design and deliver robotic educational tools, particularly the Orion5 robotic arm. Lindsay also served as a Software Engineer focused on Deep Learning at Mawson, where advanced models for audio and media were implemented, and worked as a sessional academic at Queensland University of Technology, facilitating courses in embedded systems. Lindsay holds a Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Engineering (Computer & Software Systems) from QUT, awarded in 2018.
