Zelanna Goldberg, M.D., M.A.S.

Zelanna Goldberg, M.D., M.A.S. has extensive experience in the medical field. From 2010 to 2018, they held various positions at Pfizer, including Senior Director, Global Clinical Lead, where they contributed to and then lead programs in NSCLC, breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and prostate cancer. In 2018, they became Course Director at UC San Diego, School of Pharmacy, where they designed and co-led a new course in a newly developed Master's Program in Drug Development. From 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Senior Vice President at Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc., leading several development programs in solid tumor and hematologic indications based upon their platform of tumor infiltrating lymphocyte technology. In 2021, they became Oncology Clinical Strategy and Development Consultant and in 2022, they became Chief Medical Officer at Replicate Bioscience, Inc., where they are using the body's own protein making power and the power of self replicating RNA (srRNA) to create a new generation of RNA-based therapeutics for cancer patients.

Zelanna Goldberg, M.D., M.A.S. received their Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto. Zelanna then completed a Radiation Oncology Residency Program at the University of Toronto--Princess Margaret Hospital. In 2015, they obtained their Master's degree in Leadership of Healthcare Organizations from UC San Diego. In 1998, they obtained their Current Licensure from the Medical Board of California. In 1999, they were Board certified in Radiation Oncology from the American Board of Radiology and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
