Jay Hertweck

Jay Hertweck has an extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Jay started their career at Pierce Biotechnology as a Research Laboratory Scientist in 2003 and later became a Technical Account Manager from 2005 to 2007. Jay then joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Regional Sales Manager South from 2007 to 2010.

In 2010, Hertweck transitioned to Promega as a Field Application Specialist until 2012 when they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific again as a Bioproduction Sales Rep. Jay then worked at GE Healthcare as a Key Account Manager from 2014 to 2015.

From 2015 to 2016, Hertweck held a role as a Sr. Bioproduction Sales Representative at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Life Technologies). In 2016, they were promoted to Sales Management - Sr. Bioproduction Sales Manager until 2019. Jay was then appointed as Director, NA Sales from 2019 to 2020.

Hertweck joined Gemini Bio in 2020 as the EVP, Chief Commercial Officer before moving on to their current position as the Americas Sales Director at Repligen Corporation starting from July 2023.

Jay Hertweck studied biochemistry at LaGrange College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a B.A. degree. From 2001 to 2003, they continued their education in biochemistry at Northern Illinois University.
