Jassim Latif

Jassim Latif has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jassim is currently working as the Vice President of Operations at Replit, starting from January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Co-founder and COO of Zipper from November 2020 to January 2023.

Jassim has also served as the Director of Product and Strategic Partnerships at Slack Technologies, Inc from July 2015 to November 2020. During their time there, they played a key role in launching Slack's platform and managing core product partnerships with major companies like Dropbox, GitHub, and Cisco. Jassim also secured important deals with global tech giants such as Amazon, Google, and Salesforce.

Before joining Slack, Jassim worked as an Advisor at Node.io from November 2019 to June 2020. Jassim also held the position of Director of Business Development at BitGo, Inc. from June 2014 to July 2015.

Jassim has entrepreneurial experience as well. Jassim co-founded and served as the CEO of Tiller, a logistics and dispatching software company, from November 2012 to May 2014. Jassim successfully raised seed funding, developed the product roadmap, and established partnerships with major accounting and payroll providers.

In addition, Jassim has worked as an Advisor at Peel from April 2012 to April 2013 and as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Social Capital LP from April 2012 to November 2012.

Early in their career, Jassim worked at Google in various roles. Jassim was involved in mobile business development for Android from November 2009 to March 2012, where they played a significant role in supporting Google's mission of organizing the world's information. Jassim also worked as a Strategic Partner Development Sr. Associate and a Business Analyst, where they contributed to YouTube's sales, operations, and product development.

Jassim's career started with the co-founding of The Yellow Number, where they served as the COO from July 2005 to August 2006.

Jassim Latif pursued their education from 2001 to 2005 at the University of California, Berkeley. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, specializing in Economics and City and Regional Planning.
