Chris Stanford

Chris Stanford currently serves as Vice President of Supply Chain at Republic Services, a role held since August 2022. Prior experience includes a tenure as Director of Supply Chain Operations at Waste Management, where responsibilities encompassed purchasing systems, supply chain analytics, and enterprise deployment of procurement systems. Chris has also held positions such as Global Procurement & Functional Excellence Manager at Weatherford, managing a large team in procurement and logistics, and Portfolio Manager for Strategic Sourcing and Procurement at Friedkin Companies, leading various sourcing initiatives. Earlier experience includes project management roles at Toll Brothers and account management at Hilti, as well as military service as a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Management / Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Oklahoma State University.
