Kevin Dave

Kevin Dave has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Kevin started their career as a Sales Support at Teckaline Indonesia from July 2015 to August 2016. After that, they worked as a Software Developer at Teckaline Indonesia from August 2016 to August 2017, where they developed internal web application systems and mobile apps using ASP.NET MVC and Android.

Kevin then joined Yummy Corp as a Frontend Developer from November 2017 to February 2019. During their time there, they primarily focused on developing the Yummybox mobile app using React Native, Redux, and Redux Saga. Kevin also worked on integrating 3rd party services and contributed to internal web application projects using React.

In 2019, Kevin joined Bizzy Indonesia as a Software Development Engineer, where they played a role in building the company's new marketplace platform from scratch. Kevin worked on both the back-end and front-end, utilizing Node.js, Serverless Framework, and React.

Later in 2019, Kevin joined Xendit as a Software Engineer and eventually became a Senior Software Engineer. Kevin'sresponsibilities included leading the decoupling of a critical system from the monolith code to a microservice using TypeScript, Express.js, and PostgreSQL. Kevin ensured code quality through clean architecture and well unit test coverage.

Kevin's most recent experience is with Practice Pal Music, where they worked as a Full Stack Developer from March 2021 to January 2022. Kevin focused on developing and maintaining the Practice Pal music application using React.js and Node.js.

Currently, Kevin is working as a Full Stack Engineer at Request Finance, starting from June 2021. Kevin was involved in building the Expenses product from scratch, primarily contributing to the back-end. This entailed writing tech specs, designing the architecture, and collaborating with architects to integrate it into the overall Request Finance system.

Kevin Dave earned their Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Software Engineering from Purwadhika Digital Technology School, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including "Go: The Complete Developer's Guide" from Udemy in October 2018, "The Complete React Native and Redux Course" from Udemy in July 2017, "Domain-driven Design Fundamentals" from Pluralsight in June 2017, and "Microservice Architecture" from Pluralsight in May 2017.
