Omid Shakernia

Omid Shakernia, a partner and member of the Multi-Asset Strategies team, conducts capital asset and business-cycle research and contributes to Research Affiliates’ publications. He is responsible for quantitative research and development in the areas of signal generation, optimization, and portfolio construction across the firm’s suite of multi-asset strategies.

Prior to joining Research Affiliates, Omid was a senior technical specialist at Northrop Grumman, where he conducted research and technology development for unmanned vehicles.

Omid received his Master of Financial Engineering degree from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He received his BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering and computer sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
