Doug Hopler has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Doug started their career in 1996 as a Technical Analyst at Willamette Industries and later worked as a Wintel Team Lead at Electronic Data Systems from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, they joined SecureTek Group Inc. as a Systems Engineer. From 2009 to 2014, Doug served as a Senior Information Systems Engineer at MITRE, where they provided Systems Engineering support for Army Program Manager Mission Command. In 2014, they joined Janus Research Group as a Senior Systems Engineer, specializing in NetOps. Doug then worked at Shonborn Becker Systems Inc. from 2016 to 2020 as a Senior System Engineer and Project Manager. Currently, Doug works as a Senior Principal Operations SME at Research Innovations Incorporated. Additionally, Doug has a distinguished military background, serving as a Colonel (RET), U.S. Army Reserve from 1992 to 2022.
Doug Hopler completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware, starting in 1988 and finishing in 1992. Doug then pursued a Master of Science in Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University, attending from 2006 to 2009. Lastly, they obtained a Master's degree in Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College, where they studied from 2016 to 2018.
