Research Analyst at Research Narrative

Jack (Xinkang) Du has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. In 2009, they worked as a Summer Research Student at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an Application Specialist at BD, where they provided technical support and translation services. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee as a CEP Information Center Manager and New Media Manager. During this time, they trained staff on the Culture and Education Program (CEP) and supervised the interior design of the CEP Information Center. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Paraparaumu College as a Teacher of Science and Mandarin Chinese and TIC (teacher in charge) of Mandarin. During this time, they developed the Mandarin Chinese program from scratch and used data to analyze the effectiveness of various school-wide initiatives. In 2020, they became Co-Founder & Principal Educator at Lost Abroad, where they were responsible for market research, the design of educational and culture components of the game mechanics, making education related decisions and social media marketing. In 2021, they took on the role of Research Analyst at Research Narrative, Inc. and MBA Intern at FAB9, where they created convincing pitch decks for fundraising, introduced a new work-from-home related product differentiator, and helped the company to be admitted into accelerator programs.

Jack (Xinkang) Du has an education history that spans from 2007 to 2022. In 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Human Genetics from Victoria University of Wellington. Jack (Xinkang) then attended the same university from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a BS (Hons) in Marine Biology (Quantitative Genetics). After that, in 2015, they received a Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary School) from Victoria University of Wellington, specializing in Secondary Education and Teaching. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Additionally, they obtained an Introduction to SQL certification from Cognitir in November 2020.
