Sam Wynands

Sam Wynands is a Senior Markets Analyst at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand since July 2019, responsible for covering NZD rates and conveying important developments to the Monetary Policy Committee. Sam previously covered economic and interest rate developments across G7 economies. With a Master of Commerce (with Distinction) in Finance and Economics from the University of Canterbury, Sam also has experience as a Portfolio Manager for Foreign Reserves and Domestic Liquidity at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Additionally, Sam was a Tutor for 300 Level Economics Courses at the University of Canterbury.
