Tyler Smith

Tyler Smith has extensive experience in financial systems analysis, currently serving as a Senior Analyst at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand since June 2020, following roles as an Analyst and Economic Analyst within the same organization. Prior to this, Tyler worked as a Salesperson at Placemakers from October 2015 to June 2020 and contributed as an Economics Tutor at the University of Canterbury from February to November 2019. Additionally, Tyler gained early experience as a Summer Intern at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand in late 2018. Educationally, Tyler holds a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Canterbury, and is currently pursuing a second Bachelor's degree in the same fields at The University of British Columbia.
