Barry Shi

Barry Shi is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in managing global engineering teams and driving innovation in the smart home and security product sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Site Leader at Resideo since July 2018, Barry oversees a diverse global team across multiple locations, focusing on new product introduction (NPI) and platform initiatives. Previous roles at Resideo included Senior Engineering Manager and Hardware Engineering Manager, where Barry successfully led teams in Shanghai and managed a large engineering team to deliver cutting-edge products. Prior experience at Honeywell involved leading the Hardware Center of Excellence and various hardware teams, contributing significantly to security and building technology solutions. Barry holds an Executive MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor's degree in Electronic Information Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
