Melissa Theiss has a diverse work history, starting with their role as a Senior Associate in Axon's Leadership Development Program, where they gained experience in product management, sales operations, business development, and served as Chief of Staff. Melissa then joined Quorum as Vice President of Operations, where they oversaw people operations, sales operations, and customer success as part of the executive team. Melissa also took on the role of Executive Sponsor of Inclusion and Diversity and later became Vice President of Customer Success.

After leaving Quorum, Melissa worked at companies such as Pavilion, where they served as an Envoy and Core Group Leader, and Column, where they held positions as People Operations Lead, Head of People Operations, and Advisor. Melissa also worked as an Advisor at Fledge, ChangeEngine, and NixSheets, providing guidance and support to startups and organizations.

Melissa's most recent role is as VP People at Resilia, a venture-backed SaaS startup focused on digital transformation in the nonprofit sector. In this role, they help nonprofits achieve tax exempt status and build capacity while enabling corporations and foundations to support nonprofits beyond grant awards.

Additionally, Melissa is a Member at Knoetic | CPOHQ, an accounting automation platform that reduces time-to-close by automating schedules.

Melissa Theiss has a Bachelor of Arts with Honors degree in Psychology and Undergraduate Teacher Education Program (UTEP) from Harvard University.
