Todd DeSantis

Vice President of Bioinformatics at Resilient Biotics

Todd DeSantis has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics and software development. Todd started their career as a Biomedical Scientist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 2000. Todd then worked at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, where they held roles as a Principal Research Associate and later as a Software Developer. In 2010, they co-founded Second Genome, Inc. and served as the Vice President of Informatics. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Bioinformatics at Resilient Biotics, starting in 2023.

Todd DeSantis attended Valley Christian High School from 1984 to 1988, where they achieved the status of Co-Valedictorian. Todd pursued their higher education at UC Santa Barbara from 1988 to 1992, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biological Sciences. Later, they continued their studies at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences.
