Josef Stach

Josef Stach has a diverse work experience starting from 2005. Josef worked as a Senior Software Designer at CertiCon a.s. from August 2005 to August 2008. Josef then joined Česká spořitelna as a J2EE Developer in August 2008, where they were responsible for technical design, implementation, testing, and deployment of backend business logic for mortgage lending software. In 2013, they joined Disney Interactive as a Senior Backend Engineer and worked there until August 2014. Josef then worked at Cisco as a Software Engineer from November 2014 to January 2019. Their most recent position is Head of Security at Resistant AI since February 2019. At Resistant AI, Josef works to protect machine learning systems from adversarial manipulation and advanced fraud.

Josef Stach received their MSc. degree in Technical Cybernetics from Czech Technical University in Prague from 2000 to 2006. Josef also obtained a Cisco Networking Associate degree from Cisco Networking Academy from 2003 to 2005. In addition, they earned a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from the University of Cambridge in 2005. Before that, they attended Střední průmyslová škola sdělovací techniky, specializing in Technické lyceum, from 1995 to 1999.
