Doug Rae

Doug Rae has extensive experience in data analytics, data science, and AI, with notable roles such as Head of Advanced Analytics, Data Science & AI at Resolution Life and Head of Strategic MarTech & Data at ANZ. Doug has led various programs and initiatives focused on marketing technology, personalization, and data science, demonstrating their expertise in driving business growth and innovation. Prior to these roles, Doug held positions at Vodafone Australia as Senior Manager Campaigns & Capability and at CommSec as Senior Manager Analytics. Doug'scareer also includes roles at Westpac, Leo Burnett, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and Deutsche Bank, showcasing their diverse experience in the financial and marketing sectors.

Doug Rae completed their Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) with a double major in Marketing & Environmental Management at The University of Waikato from 1994 to 1997. In 2008, they obtained SDIA Accreditation in Securities & Investments from the Security & Investments Association. In 2012, they received PRINCE2 Project Management Foundation and Practitioner Certifications from Blue Maple. Doug also obtained an ADMA Certification in Direct Marketing from the Australian Direct Marketing Association in 2004. In 2017, they earned the CSM Certified Scrum Master in Agile Project Management from AxisAgile, and in 2021, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning in Business from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
