Kevin Sweeney

Kevin Sweeney is a seasoned professional in product design and development with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow in Product Design R&D at Resolution Medical since September 2019, Kevin leads technical project intake and assists clients in developing business cases. Previously, Kevin held multiple leadership roles at Resolution Medical, including Director of Product Design R&D, where oversight of a team of 20 engineers focused on various medical markets was crucial. Kevin's career includes a variety of positions such as Co-founder and COO of Bioplastic Technologies, Inc., and Senior Director of Engineering at Algenol Biotech. With a robust background starting at Boston Scientific and earlier roles at Minntech Corporation and Ecolab, Kevin boasts a strong foundation in process development and engineering, supported by advanced degrees in Management of Technology, Chemical Engineering, and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
