Ariel Burks

Ariel Burks has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. They started their career as a Graduate Advisor-Business Career Services at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013. In 2014, they interned at ExxonMobil in Global HR Design & Planning-Policy, Compliance & Communication, where they developed new competencies and analyzed program effectiveness. From 2015 to 2017, Ariel worked at GE Power, rotating through different roles such as Employee Relations Manager, Organization & Talent Development Specialist, and HR Integration Leader. They then moved on to Tesla in 2018, working as an HR Business Partner for Gigafactory. In 2019, Ariel joined Apache Industrial Holdings as a Senior HR Manager and later became the Director of HR Operations. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President, Human Resources at Resolve Tech Solutions, where they lead HR initiatives for the global technology services company.

Ariel Burks obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication with a focus on Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the period from 2009 to 2013. Following that, Ariel pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, School of Labor and Employment Relations from 2013 to 2014.
