Javaid Rafat

Javaid Rafat is a senior technical associate specializing in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) with extensive experience in managing and advising on complex projects funded by organizations such as USAID and PepsiCo. Currently serving as the MEL Advisor for significant alliances focused on women's economic empowerment and local economies at Resonance, Javaid has successfully led MEL initiatives across multiple organizations, including Vital Voices Global Partnership and Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area. With a strong academic foundation, including an MBA in Business Analytics from Strayer University and a BA in Economics from Nangarhar University, Javaid has demonstrated expertise in developing MEL plans, conducting evaluations, and implementing best practices in various sectors including economic growth, human rights, and capacity building.
