Preston Price

Preston Price is a software engineer at Resourcely. Preston previously worked as a staff software engineer at Fast from April 2021 to April 2022. Prior to that, they were a senior software engineer at Capital One from May 2017 to April 2021, where they developed a microservice in Golang using AWS Lambda, Docker, and ECS. Preston also worked on an engine to compute features that enables data analysts to use basic Python to perform transformations and gather insight from large datasets. From June 2016 to August 2016, they were a software engineer intern at Capital One, where they worked on designing and implementing two proof of concept iOS and tvOS applications for use in Capital One Branches. Preston also pitched the mobile applications to several executives of the company, designed a one-page web application in ClojureScript, and participated in daily stand-up meetings. Outside of work, Preston volunteers with Capital One Coders to teach middle schoolers how to build apps.

Preston Price has a MS in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
